The person behind the work.
Theo Sauvage is a 19 year old animation director, animator and producer
based in France, working as a one person crew on his debut 3D animated
short film, Barbara. He is self taught and learns primarily by doing.
He first got curious about 3D animation two years ago, then started treating it as a serious, directed project after seeing the finale of The Amazing Digital Circus by Gooseworx in theaters. That experience pushed him to start his own short film and focus on animated filmmaking.
Before Barbara, he spent two to three years making 3D animations and edits with Roblox and Blender for TikTok, building a following of over 20,000 people around content that no longer exists today. He now works with Maya, Unreal Engine and After Effects, and shares illustration work on DeviantArt.
